FAQ

Dark Age is a multiplayer game set in the medieval period that takes inspiration from the Early 4th Century to the Late 16th Century. Setting out into unclaimed lands you must work with, or against, up to 200 players in a 64 square kilometre open world.

Dark Age features a unique 3rd person 360 degree combat system, complimented by light survival elements and a late game NPC Economy.

In the world of Dark Age there are many roles from which to choose, ranging from blacksmith or a cook, to a mercenary or shipwright, and many more. Become a part of world politics or make your fortune in an economy, build villages or establish towns and create a faction upon which to fight with in skirmishes, sieges and wars to conquer those who would challenge your rule.

We will be working on Dark Age until it is in a releasable state. Our plan is to release into Early Access as soon as the core game-play foundation is playable.

Before we start into Early Access there will be plenty of time to play-test the game in Alpha and Beta tests.

We're not aiming for complete historical precision in the game, although we're aiming to set the mood of the game between the early 4th century to the late 16th century.

We are developing Dark Age in the Unreal Engine 4 and plan to move towards Unreal Engine 5 as soon as it is available to developers.
